Actually Tesla is slowly opening up their SC network to other EVs in US, so I've just contradict myself 

In SG, there's like 8 locations, and they usually come in 3. So for a small island, already 24 units of superchargers. Tesla MY need to deploy 50 units by 2026 with 30% open to non-Tesla. So there's potentially 16 locations minimum - not alot by today's standard and as you already stated. Hopefully superchargers are deployed at key strategic locations to cover interstate travel but we will see.
