Brake need servicing? Come on... If change battery coolant, still can understand but brakes? Even with regenerative braking, I dont think there is much to check anyway.

Inspection. You may not change it everytime during service interval...you still need to pay labour for that...

recently i saw a lot of VVIP plates(single number plate) change their car from ICE to EV
but not to china brand but to BMW or merc
yes, same service schedule as ICE but inspection only

but there is 1 thing i notice nobody around us talked about
but i saw people in HK talked about it already which i don't know is part of the service schedule or not
which is to remove carbon buildup from the electric motor

because from their BMW iX xDrive40 review video, they need to remove the carbon buildup at the motor within a period of time as maintenance

I thought all EV use brushless motor

This article I found https://www.caranddriver.com/features/a3949...tors-explained/

BMW try to be different...the hefty price to pay for being different

i'm not into EV until that in depth yet so i'm asking
because i notice nobody talked about it and everybody thought all EVs are really maintenance free...just inspection only padahal there are things owners need to be watchful about

but at the same time...they say that BMW design made the accelerator pedal feels more natural instead of the usual weird EV pedal feeling
like i said it really depends on your usage
of course, if possible always get the highest one instead of the lowest one

It is maintenance free if brushless motor. Think of your ceiling or standing fan. Since when we ever need to do maintenance for those
