hotlink pantas rm 30 per year but the money will use to buy the 365 plan. but if u keep top up rm 10 per month u need rm 120 to maintain ur line valid for 360 days and at the end of the day u still have rm 120 in the account.
sell it as share a top up give 10% off u still can save rm 18 and only need rm 12 to maintain the 360 days. but tedious la This post has been edited by darkterror15: Jun 17 2023, 10:01 AM |

Among all the choices, I think Hotlink is more consistent in term of coverage and speed. One Xox is cheap when starting, since it gives 28 months validity as a starter gift, but it is more difficult to manage data usage because you will have to either choose a low monthly quota such as 500Mb, or withdraw the data quota only when you need it and stop auto renewal to save remaining quota. Hotlink has 1 year validity for RM30, and then you can choose a lump sum data quota for 1 year as well for a fixed amount. If your usage is very light you can even choose the small package like 2GB for a year with cheap cost. Since it is lumpsum you can use whenever you want without splitting it into monthly quota or actively withdraw it only when need.

QUOTE(BChLZ @ Jun 17 2023, 10:44 AM) But this one is just the validity of internet for one year, still need to top up regularly to keep the line active? You need to pay a separate RM30 to buy one year validity for the plan. That is just for validity, no call or data quota given. And no, it is not for one year of internet usage. Internet quota you have to buy separately. But it is cheap and comparable to what One XOX can offer. I think it is 5GB for RM10 and valid for 1 year. There are a few quota to choose from.To fully utilize that RM30, you can first top up RM30 to get 1 month validity, then at the end of 1 month, spend the credit in your account balance to buy 1 year worth of validity. But you have to do it at the last moment of the end of 1 month because Hotlink does not add 1 year to your current end of validity date. It will set the expiry date in relation to the date you buy that validity package. For example, if you top up RM30 today, your validity end 1 month from now. But if you immediately spend the credit and buy 1 year validity package, then your validity will end 1 year from now, effectively gives you 12 months of validity. However, if you wait until 1 month from now, only then spend the credit to buy 1 year validity, then the validity will end 1 year from that date. Effectively, that gives you 13 months of validity by spending only RM30 today. But you need to buy the correct Hotlink package to have this option. Not all Hotlink package has such option. Thanks for the detailed explanation!
It seems like Hotlink Pantas is one of the package that includes such 365 pass as mentioned by @sirius2017 above. QUOTE(smokey @ May 14 2024, 12:31 PM) I just port into Hotlink Prepaid and cannot find this option Specifically yes Hotlink Pantas plan/sim card is for long validity reason.Do i need to switch to Hotlink Pantas to find the 1 year validity plan? After switching to Pantas, will i still be able to purchase plans with unlimited calls? For plans, here you go HotlinkMU - These plans may change weekly/monthly, it's not constantly the same for a long time. ![]() Passes - These plans are more to stay the same unlike HotlinkMU, but i think they sometimes changing the price ![]() This one i'm using the most because no validity (forever timeless plans). So basically this is for minimal use of internet like telegram/whatsapp. But the downside of using this, is you will not have unlimited calls (will use your credit balance like normal prepaid) ![]() smokey liked this post

QUOTE(K555 @ Jun 17 2023, 09:55 AM) Digi not really after merger with Celcom but Hotlink yes. But Maxis Hotlink coverage has been very bad recently. You should have no problem in big cities but rural area is simply worst. Unfortunately Celom Digi coverage is the best. |

QUOTE(zetshield21 @ Jun 17 2023, 09:56 AM) Unifi Mobile has longer validity but doesn't have so called RM30-50 for a year validity subscription. And you better check download the mobile apps and check the validity and make sure to top up to continue keeping the number. Once they detected long no topup inactivity they will decomm your number instantly the moment you hit expiry date at 12am sharp. I know because I encountered this. |

QUOTE(skyblack4492 @ Jun 17 2023, 09:59 AM) xox gooding stable? Hotlink prepaid RM30 a year is to keep the number, not related to any plan. You must pay the RM30 to subscribe the 1 year validity. Install the mobile app and subscribe from there.owai gg maxis one so cheap compare to digi unifi mobile gooding? so good no need top up every week what plan need to get in order to get this rm30/year? |

QUOTE(skyblack4492 @ Jun 17 2023, 10:00 AM) TuneTalk basically rides on Celcom network. They are what we called MVNO operator. Celcom rented portion of unused bandwidth to TuneTalk so technically they have good coverage as Celcom Digi now. However, the bandwidth range is limited so can be congested sometime. Overall for long validity to keep the number is ok but in terms of the data plan they are other better options. That's based on my research few months back. Long validity yes but coverage is one thing to consider if the location is outside in rural areas. I think best to check the location coverage as well. |
