Ok... what the heck is 3ROD attack ?

I have no idea...
My guess is... is it the three red lights around the ON button? Is is hardware failure? How to solve?

PS: I am 150% sure to get an X-Box 360 Elite by December... and DiRT & Halo 3 on my list 100% sure.... . Just hope my Dell 19" gives some nice display quality...

its a hardware failure, almost every 360 gets them.
how to solve? by using xclamp method which costs
the cheapest around lowyat rm80-100.

be sure to buy from reputational shops
that can provide 1-1 exchange for the 360.
or else you'll be eating dirt if your 360 got
the 3ROD fever.

Im planning to get a PS3 in 3-4 years time..I cant afford consoles la..

Now I have to play my Xbox 360..Planning to get FIFa 08..

I've seen Xbox 360 on Dell SE198WFP 19". Quite nice...

On Dell 22" much better....

Hello forumers!
I am brand new and this will mark my first post in LYN (I think there is a mall or something in KL, am I right?). First of all, I would like to say that I am a genuine gamer at heart. I own a DIY PC system and while it can play the latest games, it is sorely lacking. I plan on buying Xbox 360 core although Premium has better features (and been told is it faster). The Elite is expensive, but if I save, I can buy it. What do you think guys?

Does the PlayStation 2 not have any sort of original-bound setup that will disallow non-original games? And so... does the Xbox 360 have the same thing? Does it stop non-originals from working. My cousin says Xbox 360 these days have been moderated (or modified... sorri for my lack of jargon knowledge).

But that was far from the question. I just LOVE the games that are on the Xbox 360, heck I even have my nick's name. Gears of War received criticial success and so did Halo 3. I am planning on buying an Xbox 360. There is place I have been told by my classmate (Gamers Hide Sdn. Bhd., hope I'm right in Mutiara, Petaling Jaya). The problem is, I can't find the website for it. Please help. At least I want to contact them.

My list of games to buy for the Xbox 360 are as follows :

1. DiRT (I love racing, but the PC requirements are steep so I did not make a stop at Software Boutique)
2. Gears of War (been told this game is great)
3. Halo 3 (sadly, I never played Halo 2 but was told this game is awesome)
4. NFS ProStreet (only my second NFS game in my life, first was Carbon)
5. ??? [Recommend me]

So... I will choose [3] of the above games and XBox 360 Core. Is the Premium or Elite better? I got the cash but afraid there is not much difference. Or should I buy PS3. Help...


I don't find ANY PS3 games appealing. I don't like Metal Gear and I don't like Final Fantasy.
