For me, definitely PS3 as with blu ray technology and cheaper edition which with 40gb coming soon. I have see myself the graphic, I was ...... saw such a fantastic 3d graphic so real in a shop which demo ps3 with transformer running HDMI not component or AV ah. I don't like Xbox360 as from microsoft which always copy people's idea and most of the games, PC also got ler. Looking forward for the right time to buy ps3 to play Gran Turismo 4 . First, if u get the modded version of Xbox, where got 3 yrs warranty somemore???

And secondly, PS3 rocks!!! No doubt games selection now, Xbox seems to rule. But sooner or later when the have more units on the market, sure games developer can see that and will jump ship to PS3 as well. And game exclusivity is getting lesser.

Yes yes.. Xbox360 got sooo many games.. but most of them are shooters... which made me sick. Unless u r ok with that, u can pick the Xbox360. For me, PS3 is my choice... plus... playing online is free of charge. And the PS3 is quieter and looks better...

I humbly suggest neither and stick with your PC or such at the moment cause unless you're rich, you might face hardware issues which can be really problematic especially Xbox360 as there is no official service center or like here.

Tell your dad to buy it on Chinese New Year or something as PS3 would be cheaper and more games available by then and hopefully sonystyle launch it as well.

I got X360 now..but always worried it would soon hit by 3ROD.. for me, get both...but in terms of features, PS3 have more features and in the long term, it'll be worth ur money...I think PS3 has a lot of untapped potential power...

Okay, if cash isn't that much of a problem to you go get the PS3 first. Should you only want one console-lah. However if 2 console isn't much of a problem get the 360 only next year August when the new Falcon chip has been installed into the new sets.

Please however get it from original resellers/distributors like Jason aka Djinn from GamersHideout cause they'll offer you warranty not unlike cheater shops in Sungei Wang (for example).

Cause at this time and age of 3rd Gen Consoles, buying original will save you a lot in the long run.

Get XBOX 360, its really good and the controller is superb.

Get xbox360 first then get PS3 after you have enough $. So u will not miss out all good game like mgs, GOW and ect..

It depends on what you want to get. For Xbox 360, get the original 1 because you will have the most super time on Xbox Live. The problem is game and the monthly subscriptions you have to pay but it is no problem for you then go ahead.

PS3 is good but is not worth getting this year because the games are just too little. If you get now, most probably you play for 1-2 month then don't play until a better games release.

But for me, i still prefer PS3 eventhough I have Xbox 360. I'm only waiting for the PS3 to mod because the PS3 i like to play single player games only.

If can just get the 40gb because the hard disk you can change yourself and the hard disk is the same as a laptop hard disk. So go comp shop, get a 250gb hd and put in your ps3 also can. But I heard they did some improvement on the engine for thoe 80gb console. I need soeone to confirm it.

If budget is not a problem.....( Means buying original is not a problem ) go for Ps3.

The reason is simple... a lot of games appear on both xbox360 and ps3

And... the reason people dont buy ps3 is because no pirated disc...

And so, if you overcome this.....dont think, buy a ps3, better graphic, better the experience.

I m fan of GOW, i m sure know that... n thats for sure they have to do something new inside on it after all xbox360 owner have play this game like hell after 1 years....... i mean thats too many pc users who own a xbox360 including me will try it again. GOW Pc version will release soon, so i m not add in the list, maybe GOW2, but i think maybe it will release another windows version after 1 year, about Halo3, i think BillGate will like to see it release windows version too.

my personal opinion is buy both xbox360 n ps3... tryout and decide yrself. once you've make up yr mind sell one of it ! i don't think you'll lose much within 2-3 weeks old.

i got wii, ps3 n nds ~ seriously i know i can't play all of it at the same time plus i don't have so much time to spend except on weekend so i might giving up except one. time will tell.

you bet its gonna be cheap. because out all of the current hardware implement inside the ps3.
the bluray drives is the reason why its bloody expensive. sony got a large amount of loss
by trying to introduce Bluray to consumers, pretty much like the PS2 era which sony
introduce DVD and it is the cheapest DVD player in japan. but why PS3 doesnt successfully
succeed like the PS2 era you say? because of Media Wars, in the PS2 era. consumers
are force to use DVD because they had no choice. in this era, got HD-DVD to rival with
Bluray media.


Wii and Xbox360 only use standard DVD drive, in order to play HD-DVD needs an external HD-DVD drive.
