QUOTE(Blofeld @ Jun 11 2023, 11:14 AM) exactly She started her joke about breakup of Malaysia which is done countless times by comedians in Malaysia and Singapore. The joke was stale and she sense it as there were not much response from the audience. She tried to save the joke by insulting a Malaysian audience there. The shouting of F**k Malaysia is uncalled for as it’s not funny but just crude. It makes her look like someone jilted by her lover. Then she made fun of Malaysia no internet which was an ok joke but not really funny. It’s like one of those jokes about Malaysian living in trees which any Singaporean know is nothing funny but just poor perception. Then he made a joke about Malaysian plane don’t land. That is nothing funny about that and she even had to ask Malaysian plane not landing not funny?she's taking a jab at the competence of the government. i suspect many just follow the bandwagon of hating others without even watching the video. Or don't even understand what she had said. I read a few comments saying she's insensitive about the victims. Since when she was referring to the victims. Some Malaysians had it worst of glorifying the 911 attacks. That's like 100 times worst, belittling the victims of a terrorist attack. It’s ok if you find people attacking her as similarly insensitive but do not be a white knight and say what she joked about is not insensitive. If you have family members in that flight, I am sure you won’t say the same thing. |

QUOTE(No Wear Mask @ Jun 11 2023, 11:09 AM) +1. She was trying to make a stale joke about Malaysia which has been made countless times by both Malaysian and Singaporean comedians before. A lot has made better jokes. What she’s doing is not even joke but rantings like a jilted lover. Malaysian roasting Singaporeans and vice versa are the norm. Nobody take it seriously but to just insult is tasteless and not even comedic.Very clear many Malaysians have a poor grasp of the English language. She was very clearly talking about malaysia government competence as opposed to making fun of the victims. |

QUOTE(No Wear Mask @ Jun 11 2023, 11:27 AM) You know what is INSENSITIVE? You so good, go find it lar! So many countries were involved and all couldn’t find it. You got friends or families on that flight or not. If you don’t have, you got no right to talk about sensitivity.NOT FINDING THE PLANE. ASK THE REAL VICTIM OF THE FAMILIES. THEY DEMAND THIS FROM MALAYSIA UNTIL NOW. Dont talk about mh370 sensitives, Malaysia. It’s a bad and insensitive joke. It’s not even funny and here we always have white knights defending bad comedy because Malaysia is a terrible country, right? And they call me wumao 😝 |

QUOTE(No Wear Mask @ Jun 11 2023, 11:36 AM) Ocean Infinity has offered a no fee until they find it term&condition but MALAYSIA REJECT IT for NO RESSON. This is the INSENSITIVITY OF MALAYSIA. There is no such thing as free in this world. Are you so naive to think some companies will do it for free? LOlL!And if cost is the reason, why cant Malaysia offer like 10% payment and see if Ocean infinity willing to foot the rest? SHOWS THE INSENSITIVITY OF MALAYSIA. Jocelyn is correct to point out msia incompetence and Malaysia has no moral ground to talk about mh370 "sensitivities". Yes, Malaysian government is incompetent and comedians joke about it all the time. Nobody get offended by it as it is just stale jokes done countless times before. If it was done better, nobody care what she say. In this case she was all put insult. If that is funny or comedic, then you really have bad sense of humour. Like I say before, white knights like you always pop up whenever people insult Malaysia because Malaysia is hell on earth, right! Nobody ask you to be patriotic or even voice out when your country gets insulted but to stand on the other side and defend a really bad joke is pure stupid like Jason Leong. 😝 |

QUOTE(Blofeld @ Jun 11 2023, 11:41 AM) if ppl hates her for being a poor comedian, for being rude and for making inappropriate jokes about Malaysia, for criticising the government, then yes i agree with you Like I say before, you got friends and families on that plane or not?But some had accused her at poking fun at the victim If that's the case, those who belittle the competence of the British govt for not being able to defend Malaya from Japan is being insensitive to the victims of WW2 in Malaya. eg British army useless, not competent, etc. Are these ppl being insensitive to the victims of WW2? The line between comedy and insensitivity is a thin line. Nobody say you can’t joke about tragedies but if your joke is pure insults, it’s not comedy anymore. It’s just bad taste 😝 |

QUOTE(Blofeld @ Jun 11 2023, 11:48 AM) i guess many ktards are guilty of this as well I guess those people should be supported and model of Malaysian citizenship, right? Yes, Malaysia did not handle the incident well. Nobody is denying it but is it right to insult the whole country for the failure of our government. People shout f**k you to your father mother and you should accept it because they are lousy parents? Like I say before, you can make fun of everything but if you find insults funny, then there is something wrong with your sense of humour. Stop being a white knight lar. It’s a lousy joke which is insensitive and not funny at all and she deserves all the heat on her. Plain and simple.just go the MH370 thread, see the number of ppl poking fun at the govt, agencies, and the officers for not being able to detect when the plane deviated from its path. |

QUOTE(Blofeld @ Jun 11 2023, 12:08 PM) like i said it earlier Everyone has the right to say what they want right? Everyone has their own views on everything. So, what they say about her is their views. Why should you care about their views?if ppl said she's rude for uttering the f'word, criticising Malaysia, being a poor comedian, etc, then yes i agree, but i've seen ppl on social media accusing her of poking fun at victims. If that's the case, many ktards are guilty of this as well for poking fun at MAS multiple times and the govt incompetence. As you said, this is being insensitive to the victims. The ones that matters are the friends and families of passengers of MH370. They are the direct victims of the lost plane and if they say it’s insensitive, who are you to say no it’s not insensitive? |
