250cc is gooding at genting, trust me, my fellow rider can follow and overtake the 'big brothers' no problem at all, but yeah, once karak, we all left for dead when they just zoom zoom away... Buy smaller bike, get used to it 1st, and ride it to its full potential... Learn to knee down, use the entire surface of the tires, n only then u are actually ready to upgrade to those supersports type bikes...

Who and why on earth wanna buy a 250cc ninja if what u really wanna do is actually to munch highway speed only...? It actually depends on ahat u wanna ride, n how u wanna ride ur bike... But, if later u are targeting to get supersports genre, i strongly suggest u go with the mild ninja, atleast u can learn to ride it to its limit, because its limit is quite low already. Learn how to throtle in and out of corners, n lean ur bike, braking etc,n ul be amazed on how these entry bike performs in the twisties... My humble opinion here, if u just wanna do highway run, why u need an R6,R1,zx6,zx10 etc...? All u need is actually a goldwing or GTR or any other touring bikes...

If u just wanna ride long distance later, then maybe ur beginners bike can be the er6... Er6 with its rear un even suspension handles the twisties not so good as the lower cc ninja, but yeah, once straight road, it can catch the ninja no prob...

Riding abike is not only fun when u do highspeed highway run, its also much more fun at genting, cameron, bukit tinggi, track etc at much lower speed

U mean melecur kaki because of the engine heat izzit..? Wear a proper high cut boot, n then ur feet will be ok, dun worry.. It will protect ur calf from the engine heat. N usually that problem only occurs during traffic lite etc, when the bike is stationary only because less wind blowing to cooldown the engine.

If u are really keen on red coloured er6, actually theres alot paint shops that are more than willing to respray ur whole bike to ur preferences.. Around 400 can already get it repainted with single colour scheme.


U will hardly find any bike shop that are willing to let u test ride their bikes. But, if they like personally know u, then maybe they let u test ride their bikes bro

Yes, it is like that, need to use the motorcycle lane... But, me personally have been flag-down on several occasions by those ST1300s n VFRs policemen on the federal highway, but then, i just say that pasir banyak, banjir, no lights, its much more dangerous there than on the car lane, sumore it was mostly during the night i got flag down, so they also acknowledge its dangerous there at the motorcycle lane... Uptill now, they seems to understand... Nvr got ticket for that

Go with er6... Riding style er6 more towards touring compared with the 250r... Weight, offcourse er6 heavier, but it have double the engine output of the ninja... Ninja weights around 170kg, er6 maybe 200kg++, im not sure.. If u never ride a bike before, go take a secondhand 250r, people trading it aroun 15k for the carb version, n around 18k for the EFI version... But, if u already use to riding a bike, go take a brand new er6... Anyway, both bike consider as entry level for those wanting to go into the superbike world...

Hahah, but, every1 also says they not gonna upgrade... But, later still get poisoned to upgrade... Anyway, If u prefer those comfy bikes, later u can upgrade to Goldwing... Highway muncher.. Or, u more town riding, later can upgrade to z7 or z1000...

Yerp, 250r EFI... I got it brand new january last year... Now regret buyin it brand new, cuz now its just so freeeakin damn slow for me... Thats y i wud suggest y, if u hv riding exp, just go get the er6... Atleast it wont feel slow as quickly as the 250r
