MM 60M + Onana 50M.
Our 120M budget gone.
We now really need to sell players now to get a forward.

I think Ten Hag is disappointed on the whole situation.
Originally he wanted CB + Midfield + Forward, keep De Gea.
Yet the transfer team act so slow.
Maguire also so thick face, dun wanna go.

Then he change the plan, keep Maguire, go for GK + Midfield + Forward.

With our so called transfer team, it is possible we will only able to loan in a forward.

Btw, I am not happy the fact that we raised fixed 5M to get the deal done.
My ideal numbers was 3M.
Anyway, it is deal done.

I have to be honest, MM was never a player I admired.
For me, he is like an upgraded Lingard or VDB, won't fit the current tactical plan.
I hope Ten Hag proved me wrong.

Unsure on Mason Mount
Maybe picked for the work rate only
Technically maybe not so special

This is also another point I am not happy about.
How could we offer a player with bad season this much?!

I think mm definitely an upgrade to Fred. Eth wants him, so trust him lo. If buy wrong then will pay the price eventually like ole buy Maguire and Sancho. Unless sheikh takeover, can keep buying like pep even if wrong buy.

At least finally signed someone.

Maybe because Mason Mount is a proven champions league and premier league player

plus he is a regular England international player

Thats why he is expensive... sweat.gif

Not reli, he fit tuchel playstyle well and UCL winner with a misfiring Werner in the squad... Have no choice but trust eth for insisting signing him

If lingard stays in man utd.. maybe he will not so shit in forest... Lol... Too bad he decided to ignore eth and go out...

Good news to wake up to.

But I'm still waiting for Glazer to f-off.

MM is part of the next England golden generation alongside Greenwood and Foden. The wonder kids of each big club, so to speak.

Greenwood was better than both MM and Foden in terms of scoring goals, but unfortunately, due to the recent case and the frequent change of manager, he somehow stunted.

So I was hoping to see him back soon, but saw the news he might be loaned out. Good news is ETH seems to value him even when the board/staff advise putting him in the market, together with the rest of the 13.

Look back at Chelsea last season... Playing without a proper striker almost whole season... Its quite expectable that the midfields all seems like low performing... Playing harvertz as no.9 all the time is useless haha

It is not English tax but Manchester tax. 60m is somewhat quite high consider his fitness last season

ETH wanted to keep DDG but as backup and with reducing salary, if he really want him as number 1, he could have trigger that 1 year extension then everything is settle.

MM is an upgraded version of Fred with better technique

If you look at his last season stats, his possession/pressing is higher than Fred

And…. There’s a so called “MU tax” in the market, whoever that we wanted will have market price + MU tax + 30% mark up

Interesting facts:

Kai to Arsenal
Nkuku to Chelsea
Mac to Pool
Kavacic to MC
Maddison to Spurs

All announced their arrivals without disclosed player wages

But MM, announced details with player wage

English media… well

instead of giving chelsea 60M to spent, i rather jack up their target price..
like caicedo, enter the bid n jack up the price...
rather than giving them 60M for their spending on real target player...

Chelsea doesn't need money from us to buy caicedo, they already sold Havert, Kavacic plus the owner of Chelsea is not Glazer

Until now no news for new owner
