DDG was a good keeper. The fact he lasted so long can be used as prime point that he deserves legend status. But legends do make mistakes. I can recall horrors committed by Schmeichel and VDS too. I must appreciate DDG for his service and for winning many player of the season awards. This is something even our other legendary keepers did not manage to achieve in their prime.

The position of keeper in MUFC will be scrutinised to no end. You must take it as a poisoned chalice. Both privilege and curse in equal measure.

I believe in manager given the ultimate responsibility and therefore he is empowered to choose his team, even if he does need to change the goalie. We have no choice but to accept. I’m well prepared for the clangers coming in from Onana. I still think DDG was too good a pair of hands to let go but I have moved on. Kasi chan la macha.

Ok, I took a sneek peek at Hojlund's compilation and I can see some hints of why we are spending money.
1. Left footer comfortable with right foot. A lot different from our current players. Only Anthony is left footed, and his right foot is only useful for running.
2. Can do some of the hold up play, reminiscient of RvN.
3. Finishing - Needs to be honed.
No need to get hyped, I know how hyped up I was for Anthony.

Greenwood was not charged - this is a bit different from being found not guilty by a court of law. This does not lessen the alleged guilt nor reduce the cime, it was just dropped because of lack of witness and case being not compelling.

But the underlying situation is that the woman that brought up the case is now happily married to him. Not to mention he is now father to the child she bears. If she can forgive, who are we to throw the first stone?

This is one situation whereby even if my daughter was the lady, I cannot be one to judge. Perhaps, just perhaps we let God decide later.

For the sake of the new born child, I personally prefer if we let his father make an honest living.

BTW why do we still have the fridge in any starting eleven? The man walks when it’s time to run. Miscue more than intended hits. It’s a shame and we are lowering our playing standards. It’s like telling our backups that is the level they should aspire to. It’s encouraging the opposition team to focus on him and bully him in pressing, running, offside trap. Maybe only headers he is not bad.
