P/S - Sorry for bumping thread.

I'm keeping my eyes on the Tissot PRX Powermatic 80, since after researching, it's within my budget and according to many reviews, it's one of the best if not the best watch anyone can get on the market for that price point. The build quality is top notch and what took my attraction is how beautiful the blue dial and overall design is, that and it's an automatic movement.

I got one question though, it seems like the watch case and the metal strap is match in heaven, but there is also a leather strap that is made for it, is choosing the strap just pure preference or which is better ?

Is the PRX Powermatic 80 self-winding ? Correct me if I'm wrong, there's 2 type of winding watches, both mechanical, but one is hand / manual winding, and another is self winding.

Manual winding means that the wearer have to wind the watch every time the time stops to power it up. But self winding means the watch would power up itself automatically when worn ?
