Trust me next year iPhone Xs, XR and Xs Max also not getting iOS 18 update

Consider quite good already, supporting 6 years software update

Meanwhile Android getting 4 years of software update (Samsung selected model), while Pixel only 3 years laugh.gif

yes. no other manufacturers can beat apple in terms of software support.

does anyone feel that iOS 17 is like a step back in terms of efficiency?

other than the extra step needed to send a voice message in iMessage, i feel that iOS17 is very "user unfriendly" in comparison with iOS16.

amongst other things, the keyboard appears to have been degraded - constantly predicting the wrong words and auto correcting when it is not required, the "hit-box" is also very temperamental.

Siri have also apparently became an idiot, failing to recognize simple commands (at least 50% of the time) like turning off/on alarms.

iPhone was godsent (to me) when in iOS16.

agreed on the autocorrection portion while doing the typing.
