Avdiivka is still in a relatively precarious situation and the fact RuAF is willing to throw more equipment there means the Ukrainians still won't have it easy. Can't let their guard down. Capturing Avdiivka won't confer any significant military advantages to the Russians except to straighten the front or fix the Ukrainians so that their resources cannot be used elsewhere.

Rather interesting report from Russians on the mysterious Ukrainian Baba Yaga drone and ways to combat it was published in the "Southern Military District tankmen" channel. All info needs verification, but nevertheless...

Clearly a very challenging endeavor, Russians are saying the drone has its own starlink which increases its range dramatically and stops signal loss. It is equipped with a TM mine or mortar shells to increase damage.

Stopping it requires a coordinated effort of several people using anti-drone guns and even then, you can't just land it because you'll get destroyed by Ukrainian artillery.

Although you can't see much for the most part of this video, it is among the most intense combat videos I've seen so far. It shows a group of Ukrainians entering Andriivka, in the Bakhmut direction, firing at a Russian position, taking over it, and hiding in a basement. From the second half, you can mostly see a black screen but you can hear everything very well. The whole engagement takes mere minutes. I've done the best I could with subtitles.

DeepState published today's footage of another meat assault attempted by occupiers on the northern flank of the Avdiivka Battle. Defending were artillerymen from the 31st, 110th, and the Presidential Brigades. A large number of vehicles pushed towards the railway from Krasnohorivka to gain a foothold and push towards Stepove. They were violently stopped. Reserves to continue attacks are still available.

A Russian soldier from Tver, fighting in an assault brigade near Avdiivka, complains. He says they have been fighting for over a year without a single leave of absence. He also states that only 12 of his company are left.

"Men have children... Wives... But the phrase from the brigade commander 'you will all die and it will be good' does not motivate heroism.. We fight without a motive. Thank you for your attention... It's a farce...," he writes.
