Russia can't and doesn't buy electronics directly from Malaysia. We can't sell to them. The problem is that there is a thriving grey area of trade where shell companies in places like Hong Kong, Kazakhstan or Armenia buy them off the official distributors and retail sellers and funnel it onward to the Russians. It's extremely difficult to stop, not for lack of trying by the authorities.

if i am not wrong, it took them considerable amount of time to dislodge the defenders and i don't think the river crossing incident in Lysychansk is related to them.
now they are on the the defending side so we shall see, generally battles tend to favor the defenders but that is when all things consider equal.

we can both speculate all we want and too many new factors are coming into the view for consideration.
since now they been deploy to Bakhmut, we shall see in a week or two, how will the field look like then.

In Lysychansk, the Chechens advanced very rapidly from the south and got behind the city in less than a week. I remember I posted here in /k one of the first videos of Russian forces on the heights overlooking the south of the city were posted by the chechens.

Plus IIRC the river crossing was done at the time the entire southern part of the city was in danger of being cut off, the river crossing only hastenend it.
