Fake uniform and fake police lights. Normally unmarked police car won't stop u for traffic issues. If u r being followed by an unmarked police car, u r definitely on the top of the wanted list and those guys in unmarked cars are sometimes given kill orders.

3 men then exited the car and identified themselves as police officers but failed to present their police badges and were wearing normal clothes and driving an ordinary vehicle.

“They asked if we were Malaysian, and immediately demanded our ICs and proceeded to take pictures of them and of us without our consent.”

There's no such thing as an unmarked police car in Malaysia.

Either it comes in Blue (Police color Landy or Hilux, or the old Pajero) But still shows the Police Sticker or a Proper PDRM Polis ronda cars (outside the traffic Polis)

I do hear about unmarked Kastam Malaysia pursuit cars, stationed at each land border crossing, the tools to chase the smugglers.

That's what I have been trying to say.. only a car with marking PDRM can pursue and do tangkapan. \\

Those could be unmarked cars maybe used by Police personnel to do other activities but to stop and search they virtually need to go out from the vehicle and stop you on foot. (and of course, showing any enforcement credential)

Obviously, we are talking about the case in this thread, not the UTK level until the Vat69 level, that way beyond just the normal procedure.

These unmarked cars are not easy to identify. You only knew it was the police when they do the raid or ambush. Especially in narcotic case or robbery to trail the suspects for weeks.

Honda city shared in the video by ts could be fake police. And yes only marked police cars can pull you over.
