1990s Japanese cars are ROCK SOLID reliable, good build quality and cheap for 90% Malaysian.

2023 Japanese cars are NOT solid reliable, plastics build quality and not exactly cheap for 90% Malaysian.

Japanese cars are still very reliable la. U try go and drive a VW, Audi or BMW la then u know what is unreliable.

Coz they proved themselves 10 and 20 years earlier to be reliable when making electronics and home appliances, creating further assumption that their 90s cars also must be really top quality.

Who knew only recently it was exposed that some of their vehicles from decades ago , falsified emission test .

Japanese cars were sold not only on the basis of quality but the sheer amount of joy it gives u. They were so fun to drive . The days of the Evos and Subarus, Supra, GTR and who could ever forget the legendary Mitsu Airtrek Turbo.

Only BMW & VW could compete when it comes to the amount of fun u can have in a car. But the bmw and VW were hopelessly unreliable whereas the Japanese were rock solid

and why airtrek turbo is a legendary car? care to explain?

U need to drive it to understand. No amount of words will be able to explain how fun it was to drive . Japanese cars is not all about HP and torque figures. Its just the way they drive that make them special. U cant get that feel in any Korean or China cars.

It was a Blardy brilliant car during its era and even now.
