Hi guys,

Any idea if a 600sq studio apartment is sufficient to be partitioned into a 2 rooms for rental or aibnb purpose?

Anyone have similar sized and floor plan studio partitioned into 2 rooms? Can share your floor plans and photos? Would like to get some inspiration and see if it is feasible to invest in 1. smile.gif

both design got pro and cons.... either sacrifice living and maximize bedrooms.. or the other way around... but if you are planning to do Air BnB with 2 separate hotel guest would be a problem with the sharing bathrooms... you know for sure they will be a time whereby your toilet will be damage such as your w.C ,wash basin tap etc or normal problem is the pipe blockage due to guest trow in god knows what and causes ponding the entire bathroom... this is the issue whereby you got both guest staying and dont know which one causes the problem... if you renting out the whole studio unit to one guest than you are OK.....the separation wall must be fire resistance material ya...

but if you planning to buy studio unit, then cheaper a bit the monthly maintenance fee compare to other type.....why dont you find a Dual key concept type of development... you end up having one main foyer than split into 2 entrance ... this dual key concept development is better for Air BnB .....

anyways.. hope you select a good property to invest

cheers mate
