FC highly depend on user one . My house axia full tank I can get 450+km on city drive , one of my family member can get 300+km saja ( same city drive )

Wait for 2023 axia e manual jer la if want good fuel consumption.

I'm currently driving new Axia spec G (spec kosong).

Loan approved early of Feb. Waited for 2 months to get the car. Got the new car just 2 days before raya last month. Sales say most people choose "X" spec. So "G" spec I can confirm can get faster.

I been driving the car for 1 month already. AMA

U want tknow the funny thing is that my family member work place also same area with my work place ( literally 2km apart je , we use same route to go back home ) , the traffic is the same one and yet same car same petrol brand 300+km saja

Average FC 11.4km/L neighborhood driving and KL city center drive, never been to highway.


Total mileage 683km


FC is quite high for my driving. If you drive smooth and long distance can get better FC. This new Axia is quite noisy when accelerating, if you can stand the noise then ok.

The firewall (between engine bay and passenger compartment) has minimal insulation. There is another thread taking about cheap installation, DIY and also wheelarch area where the sound comes in.

Its probably a face lift of the existing car, I wonder whats taking them so long.

I fuel RM50 when the fuel bar dropped to one bar.

Must send to Perodua otherwise warranty void. 5 years warranty by Perodua.

1st service is 1000km or 1st month just inspection only by Perodua. I have already done that. Will change engine oil after next 10000km or 6months.

i drive axia x 2020. and yes, old axia price does not go down so fast. still got lots of demands.

waiting list for a new perodua car is long. no joke if for axia is more than 6-9 months. my friend bought bezza and need to wait like 6 months. (maybe depends on color too)

I didn't test drive and the car not even official launch when I place booking.

Didn't know the DCVT so noisy but I can turn my car music volume louder to cover the noise.

I buy it to replace my 20 years old kancil for neighborhood driving so no complaining.

new G almost 40k sure used market oso up..only deal u can get it through owner but u need to pay them cash to settle the outstanding loan...

Yeah agreed, I once drive my mil axia saw the fc reading around 10km/l, so I was like wth almost same like i drive my exora.. so after a while driving the number increase lol

It depends how heavy you foot the pedal, traffic jam, slamming on brakes hard and accelerating making the FC high.

Also tyres pressure I notice most women seldom pump angin.

I'm driving 2015 Axia G spec, saw carsome they selling RM 27.4k.. damn happy. lol when bought new was Rm 32+k
so it means when i sell to carsome, probably can get > RM 20k? Not that bad what 8 yo car going 9 soon
btw, for Axia G, mine with heavy foot still getting 14km/l for 8 yo, so consider not bad la..
full tank still easily 400km+ depends on when i refuel la of course but good enough ba.
but mine is 4AT gb

I think if you buy the lesser bought variant also will be waiting for some time..
why? cuz other variants higher demand, they'll pump out those first, then maybe occasionally pump out a few lower variants one

My experience of driving this new Axia for 1 month

-Noisy engine when accelerate due to CVT gearbox
-The gearbox jerking feel is obvious
-Cornering is surprising stable
-FC depends on user
-My family member has Bezza (2017), when I compare Bezza with this new Axia, I prefer Bezza.
-Parking is easy
-I notice that the exhaust design is very good they put it higher. I guess I can drive pass minor flood area without problem

If have time, try driving the NEW Vios.
Didn't feel too much of an upgrade to me, but want to know the opinion of someone that owns are car with similar platform

believe that axia price is higher than before...then people tend to take myvi instead axia... with 1.5l compare to 1.0 underpower engine...so maybe it is a tactic for produa to mass produce myvi ...

I used to own an axia, I do get 13-14km/l with sprited driving.

Most car with torsion beam in the rear have the exhaust piping over the beam, so you never actually have to worry about minor flood.

My area in KL last time has minor flood so now I don't need to worry boleh pass

Yes. Downward pointing ekzoz, I have to put my head down almost to the floor to take that picture.

Also I want to mention about the air intake located at the bonnet. New Axia has reposition its air intake at a higher position so that it could easily go through minor flood without sucking the flood water.

Err, drive through flood prone area is to do with air intake nothing to do with exhaust, which Perodua address in new Axia. As long as engine is running there is outlet pressure from exhaust quite impossible to suck in water. You pigi renang takut air masuk hidung ke takut air masuk bontot?

I thought the logic was to keep stepping on the gas so that engine rev is high to prevent water being sucked into the engine through the exhaust?
of course air intake needs to be high also la, otherwise water masuk through there when going through flood
but of course, if water too high, best not take a risk.
there are videos where perodua cars floating cuz they were too light. myvi and axia kena before i think

true. last week got flash flood in my area. i saw myvi try to drive thru flood, halfway seems okay but then it floats and drift straight to longkang

keep in mind eventho ur car can go thru flood, doesnt mean it is safe to do so. both myvi and axia was very light and easily floats

Best advice for any spec of Axia, accelerate slowly and smoothly. With the 1.0 engine, it's not going anywhere fast. The gear ratio is also tuned for maximum efficiency so don't bother to floor the gas if you need to rush out a turning or something. Especially so if you have passengers.

Even at engine idle your engine is still at 1000rpm thereabouts. There will always be positive pressure, or "blowing out" pressure. How to suck in? The only way that water can get into exhaust is when the engine dies, by sucking in too much water at the intake.

Off your aircond for extra omph when getting out busy junction or overtaking

i got the 2022 axia G. bought it coz i dont need any of the fancy kits. just wanted folding mirrors.
few months later family member got the 2022 Myvi 1.3.
My feedback.
Both same plastic quality , if you want a C A R, and on budget axia serves the purpose.

Now 6 nths later, my feedback.
Axia is a C A R.
i use it to park at MRT, serves me well. AC is cold.
down side, engine loud as hell, MYVI 1.5 is much smoother .
axia go uphill need D3. plastic rattles already 6 mths. sit in traffic 2hrs seat is not so comfortable.

if you want to get from A to B, its perfect. Some days i drive thru rush hour traffic in kl city, no complains.
if you are on budget , its perfect.
if you want a small car for convenience, is perfect.

also i had to changed the head lights to brighter, and upgrade the wiper blades. slap on trapo mat just because.
