Most car with torsion beam in the rear have the exhaust piping over the beam, so you never actually have to worry about minor flood.

Err, drive through flood prone area is to do with air intake nothing to do with exhaust, which Perodua address in new Axia. As long as engine is running there is outlet pressure from exhaust quite impossible to suck in water.
