so my credit card applications got rejected. 3 banks already. i want to reapply with another bank. need to wait before applying new? how long?

not so tldr:
so i havent got any credit cards or any loans for the over the last 15 years. so my new employer always sends me overseas (asean je). cut story short, they want me to get credit card so its easy to claim using card statements. banks said my credit history too clean. my ctos score also 580 only. i got no ccris or black list anywhere.

Just put 10k in FD in any banks u want to apply CC and ask the bank execs to pledge this FD for your credit card application.

get from your housing/car loan bank?
if not, go to your salary bank and ask their help to get you 1

you applied cards from 23 banks? like seriously?
how many banks we have in msia that offers cc product anyway?
credit card is the easiest shit that you can obtain from a FI

is your income stable? are there any monthly salary slip of your monthly income? employers sends you overseas means what?

Don't apply. Won't get it. Too many applications can be negative indication already.

Take the advice from me, I have no cc. 33 years old, but I'm B40. My last apply I think 09/2022, multiple apply in 2022. Plan to try again 06/2023.. because I've managed to built my CTOS.

Apply for small amount of personal loan with bank/tng, I know interest is high but it will help build your credit score. Make sure pay on time. After 6 months, apply for CC again. Try to get your loan settled up to 90% by then.

If got housing or car loan, his credit record prolly won't be too clean as he claims.

if re-apply at same bank, 3-6mths.

because too clean already, either you put FD as #2 mentioned or make a loan.

They wanna see your re-pay habit, best is apply from bank that your salary pay in.

Btw, which bank you applied and get rejected.

Ask your wife to be guarantor temporary. After u can get your own cc, cut the card (wife guarantor)

Try ask from kah la FEI bank like affin, bank rakyat, bsn where they more desperate for customer.

Apply from supermarket booth. Normally the agent will push because they want to get commission.

Wait 1 year. If you apply so many in shower term will trigger every bank that you are desperate for loan

Don bother to apply dy . U need to do deposit to get yr first cc then work from there ..
Ps every time they reject yr cc application bank negara got record one u know and bank scoring system will keep deduct yr score .

Go hlb, apply credit card via fd (conventional only).
Limit will follow your fd amount.

So if u need to spend a lot on oversea, need to deposit high amount.

For islamic fd, go publicbank (they call it TD-i)

I have contact who successfully got card with hlb. Open savings acc & fd deposit the money, after 3 working days need to come back to bank to apply card. He didnt apply pbe so no experience with pbe.
