my overclocking fail to get 3.4 stable..... sigh... droping the core speed and prime at the moment.....

if got water cooling also my pwm is too hot here....

so droping the cpu clock and vcore now.... prime still....
still finding the best speed ....

what is your cooling?
F3 is not that sux.... if the cooling cannot maintain the heat from cpu and torturing it will suddenly increase the cpu temp directly to 1xx'C
that's why it bsod.... or sudden shut down...

suggest keep your vcore down.... windsor temp will increase a lot when vcore is increase

the fan looks not bad but using 1.5vcore sure 100'C over...
if u are dfi user... u should ask those dfi user here that do encounter some problem in their early overclocking experiant ... mostly is ram issue...

Vcore 1.450 in bios...

i dun think your temp is 40 only... when u prime it rise very fast that u cannot even see if the heatsink cannot stand the heat and cool it....
so it shut down to protect your pc.... dun blaim anything .... abit system have protection for it if not you cpu already kaput...

PWM 70'C consider ok
even use my board for 120'C before when OC Pentium-D P4
but hte higher it rise the higher electric bill u gonna pay

PWM is the mosfet power usage thing... normally it is nearby the cpu...
2 mosfet will be one phase power... with one ring coil kind
4 mosfet will be two phase power... with two ring coil kind
6 mosfet will be three phase power... with 3 ring coil kind...
and so on....
so u know how to see the power now...
the more power is in use.... and more PWM temp will increase...

that's correct... amd memory controller is in cpu and intel is outside..
last time.. at pentium -D P4 .. it clock ram bad... and amd wins...
now c2d clock ram good than amd... that's all =)

hope amd beat intel in future... real time using computer amd still champ..

gaming is fine... but dun say it is stable... that's all
i guarantee sure got problem will happen if not fully tested but that speed at default vcore is fine..
