That comeback is really insane...but Chen/Toh is playing with more variety nowadays...Chen used to smash very hard from the backcourt but nowadays hes mixing drop and smash....Toh has also improved her frontcourt presence....They are also always talking to each other...

Overall this pair has improved a lot over the past 12 months...They are moving in the right direction

Next year is WC...They should sit down with their coach and strategize to see if they have a chance to win a medal during the WC.

I really like the way the new Indon pair is playing..No lift, only when necessary...They just love play flat drives ...Never seen them before this...

I missed watching the final mens double match..but I did watched their semi final game...Need to watch back the final later this week when I am free...

Congrats to Pearly and Thinaah..They have changed their game plan recently..They are far more aggressive now, seems like their game is slowly evolving...Good for them...I do hope they will reach the pinnacle one year from now..

The Japanese were making some basic mistakes, including their more experienced player...

If the players developed well as expected, we are in the golden age of mens double...The team can now even surpass the golden 90s when we hv 2 strong combos, Razif/Jalani and Cheah SK/Soo BK. In the next 12 - 18 months, we can expect to have at least 2/3 pairs playing every Saturday if they can play consistently....

Congrats Aaron/Soh...Stay healthy as the WC is coming soon this year...It is so heartening to see them fighting hard for every single point throughout the match....Aaron is always there encouraging his teammate while Soh is definitely calmer nowadays...I can even see Aaron smiling even when they lost a point...They are also listening and interacting with their coach all the time...Lets go and win something big over the next 12 - 18 months...

Watched Chen/Toh played today against the Danish pair...In terms of performance, the Danish were much better pair in the first and second set. They were mixing up their shots way much better than the Msian pair. Anyhow Chen/Toh performed much better than their opponent in the final set.

Both pairs doesnt like lifting....so interesting to see the outcome...

Good luck Pearly/Thinaah tmrw....It will be an uphill battle knowing yr opponents are super dominant...Cut down the unforced errors especially during the early parts of your match or else u might get steamroll tomorrow...Quite a number of unforced errors today during the first set like erratic serve and lift to the baseline...All the best tmrw...

Hendrawan just coached them recently. The pair had been playing such style quite sometime ago. Quite refreshing.. Very little lift, more towards drive plus flick serve. Their 3rd and 4th shuttle always cross court creating havoc.

Crowd wont be booing Pearly today as their opponents is not from Indon.

Glad to see Yap/Arif making a breakthrough here with their first Super Series title. Its good that they defeated a high ranked opponent, though they need to improve further in order to compete with the other Top 10 pairs in the world...

That English pair upset Aaron and Co during the Olympics...

Match 7 and 10 will be super super interesting...

Man/Tee will have to be very very careful against the Koreans, no room for mistakes here....

Aaron/Soh vs Twin Tower, as usual will be another high octane match.

Looking at the matches yesterday Aaron Soh will look back and be disappointed with their performance. The first 11 points in the first set was totally one sided. Their second and third shot was below par ..

Man/Tee put up a spirited fight .. their back court was totally exposed during the last 7 or 8 points in the third set. But it was a good fight especially when yr opponent is no 1 in the world.
