just divide by 2; assume the average household is 2 pax

why do you want to compare your salary to others? just take the amount needed for you .. each person has different commitment and expenses

add the two up.

then maybe top up rm1-2k for emergency or saving...

make sure you have aavings too

Penang is no longer a low cost place, its by far and large similar to Klang Valley. Especially on the island side.
