Lots of laptop nowadays no longer have 2.5" slot
Why would you want to use HDD? If you want reliability, just backup your important data lah, don't store it in just 1 place

I guess I'm just paranoid listening people' stories how their ssd dies on them and it has limited data cycle. I've been primarily usinng hdd all my life.
Nothing is permanent

Both SSD & HDD have their pros and cons
But I will never pick HDD over SSD as the performance gain is huge. Anyone who says otherwise is just kidding themselves

As I've mentioned before, if you're worried about losing your data, backup your important data to multiple places like external SSD/HDD or cloud storage
