I am interested in some phone numbers sold online via carousell/shopee.
Problem is the buyer said I need to pay partial of the amount first. And I need to send ic for them to register then walk in to the telco center to take the simcard.

I offered to go to shop but seller give excuses number in the system or I pay via carousell protection but seems like he evade the question.

Seller profile also recently registered and no reviews yet.
Sounds fishy to me.

I thought if I want that particular number I can just buy the simpack if it is prepaid one. Unless the number is post paid which I have to choose when I go to the telco centers.


Seems like once I pay a small amount I will get blocked and seller will MIA.

those vip number is number with physical sim just not yet register.

if u no give ic n yet how for them to register on system? some merchant sim cant self register must by done by shop.

carousell with protection, mean they will courier out the item n money hold by system alike shopee..

if u so scare being cheated then buy any number available on system randomly.

Well I am actually looking for numbers that have personal special meaning like birthday date eg 16th August 1990 thus 8161990, for example.

I did buy number directly from shop/seller that I searched online and then proceed to WhatsApp and transfer, had no issue, seller registered and sent the SIM card to me.

I guess the main point would be to get from seller that is part of a shop/business instead of private seller if you want more peace of mind.

Scammers are always out there, be careful.

For the absolute cheapest try unifi prepaid. Download the app and search for last 4 digit. Plenty of abab number there. Just rm10 for the sim plus rm10 if u opted for pestage. Yes the service aren't that great but can insta port out to other telco afterwards.

If wanna choose full digit, all telco should be able to choose your favorite number but gotta visit their respective service center and gotta register for postpaid.

I'd avoid those private seller, furthermore if no cod and only postage. Plenty of scammers around.

just wondering, can we really get vip number at telco service center? for example i want the number 012 345 xxyy.. are they able to give me the number? of is it some vip number are reserved?

for postpaid is possible, best bet is to visit official maxis centre not dealer
