Any fever on newborn baby is treated as sepsis and need further workout.
If they missed and your baby become vegetative state, or 6 feets under, than your can make a complaint and even the state will investigate any child death under 5 years old.
You mentioned about taking your baby without your consent to the government hospital.
1. They would insist and bring to government to avoid any delay in treatment.
2. Parent may bring to private hospital, but after learning the cost, NICU admission per day if im not mistaken RM1K/day, they may bring back to home, and observe by themselves, and only bring back when the conditions worsen.
3. And under child act 2001, doctor may take your child for treatment even if you refuse, they will lodge the police report and if you child health worsen due to your action, you may be charged in court.
4. Your baby ended up in paediatrician hand, was assessed, monitored, given treatment and was discharged home well after 4 days. If based on your allegation that the diagnosis was wrong, your baby will be discharged on the first day paediatrician asses your baby.
