QUOTE(prazole @ Dec 17 2007, 10:20 PM) i want to ask another noob question That kind of message usually appears when you try to order other stuff like games, clothings or electrical items. Amazon only ship movies and music cds to malaysia so if you have any other items in your cart that message will appear.y i tried to order BD from amazon.com, during my checkout it says: *** We're sorry. This item can't be shipped to your selected destination. You may either change the shipping address or delete the item from your order by changing its quantity to 0 and clicking the update button below. (See geographical restrictions.) *** how to i go around this? i put my address to melaka.. |

IINM the initial cost for the international priority is US$29.99 and a few bucks will be added for each subsequent items. So if you order 1 items the cost will be US$29.99, 3 items would be $29.99 + 3($x.xx)

QUOTE(pAnGuInDa @ Dec 20 2007, 10:35 AM) Oh Yeah~! They probably recalled them to check and see wether there's any Harry Potter HD DVDs in them or not Just check out Amazon and found out something.. production got delay but also there is no more stocks available to blu-ray if you you order now and what I found out is that HD DVD still got stock available; what does it mean? Blu-ray sell more or Warner purposely limited the stock. I'm neutral here What I mean is that I hope Blade Runner sells "very very very" well on Blu-ray |

RX ordered from http://www.hidefdvd.com/. The prices are slightly higher compared to amazon but they normally ship movies before the official release date

Customs Friendly Shipping: If you choose a courier option and you live outside the USA, please be aware that local import taxes may apply to your order. To ease the potential of customs taxes in your country, we'll employ some Customs Friendly methods of shipping andwe'd recommend to keep your order at a maximum level of 7 (weight). Anything above this value, may result in import taxes on your shipment.
hmmmm.... "customs friendly shipping". Very intriguing |

QUOTE(pAnGuInDa @ Dec 31 2007, 04:14 PM) Just read some article about Natural Journey available for both format, just wonder anyone in this forum got this tittle? How is it? I have the BD version of Nature's Journey and they look extremely gorgeous! Not my type of show though. Watched about 10 minutes and haven't touched it since I read about the film is encode with same video encode which is VC-1, but differently bit rates, which of course Blu-ray got better bit rates. Well, the reviewer said using his 50 inch Samsung DLP screen, there are no identical difference on both format on normal viewing distance, but with bigger screen there is a different; I guess that why some people prefer HD DVD since not much people has big screen or over 100 inch display But still it prove that more bit rates delivers better picture quality, an argument which always said Blu-ray is nothing different compare to HD DVD in term of picture quality. There also some interesting interview on it Source Rx bro, you said you finish the Resident Evil Extinction, care to said something about the PiP that available on the movie? Pretty excited about the first the true PiP on Blu-ray disc. Bro Stringfellow, your Onkyo TX-SR605 AV Receiver make me How I wish I could get one now, no money |

QUOTE(TheUndead @ Jan 2 2008, 01:00 PM) Hmm, does Amazon keeps adding titles to the BOGO promotion stealthily? I think Mr & Mrs Smith was not in the list the first time I went there Mr & Mrs Smith was already in the list when I posted earlier this morning. Normally they don't add titles to an existing BOGO. They might remove some though if they ran out of stock. |

The BOGO list is now down to 92 titles compared to 96 earlier today. Not sure what was taken out though. All of the big blockbusters that I remembered seeing earlier is still in the list
