Same for me. Though some are actually the titles that I want, but they are not on the top of my to buy list.

Already spent a lot on BD movies last 4 weeks, the wife won't approve this (not that I need the "approval permit" actually)

I don't have Planet Earth so I'm not able to do any comparison between the two. If want some high quality demo material but are not keen to spend over $60 for Planet Earth then Nature's Journey is the title for you at about a third of that. This is definitely the best looking BD in my collection.

PS: POTC3 has shipped! rclxms.gif
PPS: I have extra so if anybody is intersted just PM me

From my experience, you'll not be taxed if the shipping is for less than 3 titles.

If 4 titles, tgk nasib, sometime kena, some time not.

If 5, I think sure kena tax.

Michael Bay: Microsoft is the Real Problem

Outspoken director Michael Bay has once again posted a note on his website in regards to the format war, this time calling out Microsoft. He pointed out, similar to what many insiders have been saying for a while, that Microsoft was only trying to destroy both formats in order to usher in digital downloads. Mr. Bay called Blu-ray the "superior" format and hinted that Microsoft was behind the now infamous Paramount payoff.

Below is the full post:

What you don't understand is corporate politics. Microsoft wants both formats to fail so they can be heroes and make the world move to digital downloads. That is the dirty secret no one is talking about. That is why Microsoft is handing out $100 million dollar checks to studios just embrace the HD DVD and not the leading, and superior Blu Ray. They want confusion in the market until they perfect the digital downloads. Time will tell and you will see the truth.

Like I said, whoever lose, Microsoft wins. And if Michael Bay is right, then both formats will lose! doh.gif cry.gif

I still want physical media to prevail. I want to own it with nice box arts, put my collection on the shelf and look at them anytime I want.

Sure, digital downloading will still be there, but physical should not die. Plus, our ISP sucks.

Now both camps has a very good reason to dump their 360! whistling.gif icon_idea.gif rclxm9.gif

Agreed. How can my wife say the PQ for my POTC2 is "biasa saja"? I told her if that's "biasa saja", that means she must approve me to buy a full HD 1080p LCD TV. drool.gif

But then we watched Planet Earth. She said, "cantiknya bunga tu", "cantiknya pemandangan"... I have to assume she meant the picture quality, not the nature... whistling.gif

BTW, POP, just got the poslaju. Thanks! Tabik the way you wrap the BD, well protected!

Listening to Michael Bay is like listening to a two-year old who will change his mind again.

Last he dissed Paramount when they decided to go HD-DVD exclusive, then he retracted the statement and said that HD-DVD is alright after all. And now this?

I think he is just scared of the flak that he is receiving from the Bluray camp. For once, I wish he can jst make a proper stand.

Oh, and yes I am still bitter that he made Transformers suck.
