What you have to do is to be in malaysia every 90 days .. as long as u step in malaysia .. and leave .. the count starts.

So example, you stayed in sg without stepping into malaysia for 100 days .. you're not eligible for insurance claim .. on the other hand .. if you go out on the 100th day ..  and return to sg .. your 90 days count restarts again .. so if anything happens, for instance, in the 40th day .. u still can claim

To be safe just get a medical card .. it would cost around 1k .. depending on your age..

Yes my PR is approved. Just received a confirmation this morning. It seems the ques were indeed true.

When I apply PR, my S pass still left 1 and half years.....

I nevet expect need more than 12 months....

Sorry guys, just to check on the CPF contribution.

Wondering how does it work. My wife used to contribute gradually until it reached the max value. However, there's an option to go for full. The weird thing is now that my employer is offering to pay full while I pay gradually (if i understood correctly). How does that work? Option 3 sounds too good to be true lol ..

I would like to go for full, but paying 20% is a pain on my pocket too given that my monthly expenses is about 60%. I'm left with 20% for contingencies.

If me and my kids apply for PR. For some reason we surrender our PR before serving NS. What will happen to my kids? I have got version:

1. Kids can never set foot in Singapore else will be jail
2. Kids can sill visit Singapore but cannot work in SG

Huh need her for citizen meh? I thought as long as ure a PR can just move next step le .. unless u want it to be fast .. just like me .. but having a sponsor do have drawbacks, e.g., upon divorce, you would lose your PR.

Asking this for opinions if anyone has similar experience. My other who is a Singaporean is currently working in sg and I am based somewhere else. We are planning to register and that she will sponsor me for pr. Realistically what are my chances to get an approval for pr? Or no chance better get ltvp first… hopefully someone went through this before
