My short term target is to get PR so can force myself to save more and also employeer contribution
But now the dream seem so far to me

Current company is good, but the management is micro manage
WFH ask why
Apply AL also ask why
Work until not happy, everyday endless tasks
live like walking zombie, Stress like hell sia

Thought of changing new job but hard to get the same current salary
Also my heart still back in Msia not here

Sry ya tumpang tred

How much should we ask if we decide go back msia
Let say earning 4k SGD
Can't be RM14K what...

Or just follow back msia market.. if market is RM8K
then really hard for ppl to go back home country

If your wife is working in sg, yes. You apply as a whole family. But, alone S-pass may be a little hard especially you have only worked 5 months. You can start applying by the 6th month? It may be a little hard as some forumers here have applied about a year, and yet to get any reply thus far.

My wife will not come here SG soon since our initial plan is, I work in SG she helps take care our baby until my job stable and get SPR

It's hard(er) but not impossible for S pass holders to get PR now. I heard from my barber (ok, ok, he prefers to be called a hairstylist) that they are now required to demonstrate Singapore-issued diplomas to boost their chances.

Do you have any Singapore issued qualifications?
*
No but i will take any chance to increase my chances knowing their requirements getting higher than before

I have some colleagues who recently got Singapore PR. They commute daily from JB to Singapore for work and do not stay in Singapore.

In your case, I think you need to update your address on Singpass and with ICA when you actually move to JB.

How long has it been since you applied for PR?
*
I actually haven't applied
Been working for 8 mths only
Some said just pay $100 apply, some said wait 1 year after I paid tax only apply
But I think it really base on personal qualifications, experience and maybe some luck

I still want to obtain PR, for CFP, better opportunity when I look for other jobs
But the rent here is killing most of my pay
So I thought of moving out SG and bring my wife n baby come stay together in JB (they are in KL now)

Not sure should I apply PR now before I move to JB will have big impact on my application or not

May I kindly ask if you hold an S Pass or an Employment Pass (EP)
and you are below the age of 40?

Lastly, could you please let me know which sector you work in?
I think you should just apply first. I worked for only 6 months before applying for PR.
I was only holding an S Pass when I joined this new company in September 2023.
It took just 1 year and 1 month for me to get PR.

I started working at this new company in September 2023. I applied for PR in May 2023 and received it in June 2024.
