too many dry patches.. really hope they will release story arc faster.

genshin we take longer time to clear, so larger time gap is ok. (however I sold my Genshin account already won't go back to it)

for HSR doesn't take that long to clear new region.

that's just my 2 cents. Maybe in future this will improve. Maybe this is what Hoyo intended it to be.. a nice and simple 2nd game. Main game will be Genshin or something else. In between many dry filler patches to keep us busy.

gotta give Hoyo credit HSR does have some good filler contents tho like the recent Ghost Social update event. And the previous one where we meet Topaz and can use enemy units.. that one was good too. The logistics event where we manage the cranes + Museum event also quite good.
Outside of those really dry and just for the sake of giving us some jades and materials.

update today.. once complete can pull for Ruan Mei

yeah Ruan Mei is crazy broken.. she is same level as Bronya (maybe even better).

Leveled her up to 70 already with 180% break effect.. can see when she in the team all my DPS damage numbers and break effect go sky high. I put her in Kafka team also same.. 1 healer + Kafka + her + another DOT noice big PP..

I got Ruan Mei via guranteed in 20 pulls, but lightcone I tried 40 pulls didnt get... the 4* lightcones there all suck also so I decided to stop pulling. Aiming for DHIL lightcone later or maybe just wait for Black Swan.
So yea pull rate still the same.

Bronya good leh.. I still need like 40 more pulls in standard banner bfore getting her.

u will get good DPS soon.. Black Swan coming can try go for her.. lots of reruns coming also since they rerun 2 characters a patch now (earlier was 1 only). Also next patch get foc Dr Ratio.. pair him with Topaz for big dmg numbers.

Black Swan can pair with Kafka and Ruan Mei for big pewpew. DOT team is great and easy to build.

IMO Blade is better as a 2ndary DPS, his best partner is Jingliu (due to Jingliu self damage team that adds to his +1 rage counter). It will help him hit 5/5 rage even faster for that DPS AOE hit.

If you're wanting a primary DPS I'd say wait for a better option.

Best right DPS now in my head:

Seele - Quantum - might be overtaken soon by another
Qingque - Quantum - need at least E4
Xueyi - Quantum - heard she's good from latest youtube videos, her ultimate can ignore weakness type.
DHIL - Imaginary
Dr Ratio - Imaginary followup
Jingliu - Ice
Argenti - Physical
Kafka - Electric DOT type
Jingyuan - Electric - might be overtaken soon by another


Secondary type (that compliments others):
Kafka
Topaz
Blade
Welt (his ultimate can disable without breaking)
Yukong (can deal high damage + boost any imaginary type DPS)

Those that will be boosted if have Secondary/Harmony type:
Jingyuan (by Topaz)
Himeko (by Topaz, further boost by Ruan Mei)
Dr Ratio (by Topaz)
Clara (by Topaz)
Jingliu (by Blade)
Any DOT 4* or 5* (by Kafka - they can clear MOC thanks to her)
Xueyi (by Ruan Mei, break effect will boost her damage)

*most of the above can be further boosted by Tingyun, Bronya, or Ruan Mei

Actually you can start build DOT team such as Luka, Sampo, and Guinaifen already (even if you have even just one copy of them). No need to wait for Black Swan.

I just cleared MOC10 first half with Fuxuan, Ruan Mei, Guinaifen (hybrid of break effect and effect hit rate), and Kafka. Ruan Mei boosted Kafka DOT team due to her break effect boosts. The other Jingliu team I proceed to use Luocha, Tingyun and Clara to clear:



Kafka is just so good and versatile.. And economical.

From my attempt at MOC 10 onwards can really see how Ruan Mei helped. Now I get why they only introduce more 5* Harmony after MOC12 released. They really boost the team a lot.

My Clara build. Decided to lvl her up due to having her + her lightcone. She's a good sub dps that can shield teams too. Still need a lot of work to get higher CR and CD:



Next will build Himeko due to how good she is with Ruan Mei. Also got her + her lightcone from losing 50/50.

Might build Dr Ratio as sub dps too after that. Got many unused Hunt lightcones for him.

Floor 12 MOC manage to beat it with 2 stars only... bosses all have freaking high HP.

i only got 1 star in the true fiction last stage.
Haih looks like need to emphasize on erudition characters also after this.

also heard Herta is performing great in this event.. even better than Jingliu since she hits all with ice. Auto attack when enemies below 50% hp also.

same here, Himeko made me broke.. Relic and lightcone also not settled yet for her.
at least we got more free modeling resins now to fit new characters with them.

also Herta is free E6 for every player.. didn't know she will bcome useful suddenly haha

was thinking of leveling up Ratio one just to mess with him.. guess not after this. Too broke. Already got DHIL for imaginary type and still need to lvl up Black Swan later.

I have both Jingliu and DHIL, but still get 1 star only for final challenge. tried multiple times d.

Jingliu has Herta shop's lightcone. DHIL using 4* planning to get his 5* lightcone during rerun.

the other team I using DOT Kafka team. Maybe black swan and future DOT 5* will help.

so now will upgrade whatever erudition I have first.. next likely Qingque E5 or Herta.

actually not sure also if pure fiction (PF) will remain as it is benefitting Erudition.
later they could change up the buff making it favoring single target? such as the Hunt path.

need to see upcoming rotations before can confirm.

but for sure after this they will increase demand for characters like Argenti. His rerun banner gonna be hot cake soon.

also will tempt more people to buy Season Pass, since it will make them broke of resources after levelling up Erudition characters if can't cope with PF.

Manage to clear PF stage 4 at 2 stars. Now build Herta see if helps.

I just use whatever I have according to enemies' weakness.

Below are my two teams for last PF stage:



Herta is a pain to upgrade since I need to start farm from zero again. Waiting for new event to top up my resources.

Team 1 score not good enough. Hope Herta can help.

But maybe will skip if can't afford. Since now have Dr Ratio we have options.

game getting stale for me .. need a new location to explore and further expand the story.

might try for Black Swan and Sparkle.

Ruan Mei beefs up my DOT Kafka team by a lot. Really can feel the difference with and without her.

Finally finished pure fiction with all stars. Latest PF easier than the last one.





Just tried previous PF. Still failed in getting the last star. Final bosses too thicc.
