Used it to withdraw money in Thailand once

Not bad, once you withdraw the app instantly got notification and will show you the details eg location and the exchange rate
*
Tip: dont use wise to withdraw from ATM in thailand, their ATMs charge 200 or 300 baht withdrawal fee. Not worth it.

Exactly. I was fooled once cos their marketing cleverly claimed that there is no fees but this time, it was levied by the corresponding ATM. The THB200 charge is even more expensive than our traditional banks

got wad security if someone picks up a loaded card?

is it for cheaper exchange rates compared to cc?
*
I use the app no physical card. Just online banking app transfer on use.
Surely cheaper exchange rate compare to cc.

Now, i switch to 'youtrip' instead, more user friendly in SG & Aust. Seldom use wise now

after u register , You can open 2 virtual accounts at one time that you can delete right away, if u want physical card can order at rm13.7 . Lets say u want to buy sowmthing From some dodgy merchant , u can create one , pay and delete .

But if u feel Like u gonna spend on local transactions better take alliance virtual account credit card It will generate a random number, u pay then self destruct .
