I do think there is too much unnecessary information in the car now. How many of us actually really use these information when we are driving vs good to have to fiddle during driving.
Back in the old days, we just have speedometer, tachometer, fuel gauge indicator, handbrake signal, turning lights indicators, and temperature indicators. These are the basic needs, I think.
And if we wished to listen to radio or use the air con, the knobs are there. And we know instivvely where they are.
The new generation cars… now they Ben have display a large as 12”….and a lot of info that is not critical but good to have, IMO. And the costs goes up with all these new gadgets added.

Don’t Tesla has voice control functions like SIRI? He can use that SIRI equivalent instead of manually does this.
