QUOTE(IronManz @ Jun 14 2023, 08:41 PM) Have to ask Puchong people who stayed there since 2000 before Puchong was developed. Anyone? Definitely a mining land. Or at least a huge part of it is. I lived in Puchong since 1992 and that whole area was a mining area. The exact location may not be a leftover mining pool but it’s likely to be at least next to a huge one.

QUOTE(IronManz @ Jun 14 2023, 09:59 PM) Thanks for your sharing, genesis. Would there be any long-term effects to have a house/condo next to a previous mining pool? If you look at google maps, there's many (and some are huge) in Puchong. I guess the general fear is that the soil will still move over time. Case in point are like my uncle’s unit that came home to cracked walls and floor tiles three times over 10 years or so. It’s more of a hassle to fix than anything else. When it happened the first time, they took the chance to Reno but after that, it’s just a pain. Other than that, all is well.
