i think Activision don't publish Asian version of PS3 games.

even on the 360, their "Asian" versions are simply region free PAL versions sold at Asian prices.

yo im back with some actual gameplay experience whee~~~

i played for like 6 hours non-stop last night lol...

- To those who were asking about coop-play (up to 4 players only, and no online-coop)

- graphic was too awesome, aku baru on 720p... 1080p i rili dono what to say edi...

- gameplay is WIDELY improved, very interactive as alot alot of mechanism of the game, u played as FPS on the ground, on a chopper, on a plane with nukes (realistic camera/display) so far the sniping mission on Act - 2 is the best for me, the sniper camouflage is too realistic, da macam GT Prologue dah!

- So far there are Act 1 , Act 2 , Act 3 .. 3 chapters only? well, i dont know...but for 3 hours+ i managed to get to Act 2, that is quite short wasnt it? hmm

- Game control : Excellent.

- Game difficulty : There are 4 available Diff lvl, I like the way they define our skill by going through the decoy combat mission, where you are :-

...Given 60 seconds to sweep the area of 6 waypoints, where the record holder is 19 seconds, at the end of the mission , they will tell you what difficulty u are suit to be at..Me? I played shitloads of time, kept repeating the mission to see my best time, and it turned out to be 22.5 sec and rewarded as "Hardened difficulty'. I believe it is medium? Coz I only remember there are smth like Very Easy/ Easy / Hardened / Veteran.

I played as Hardened so far, DIED alot alot alot, as the AI is sangat sangat power, COD3 is way far behind !

---- Online gameplay ----

Amazingly I got hooked up for like almost 3 hours of online play! (4am-7am++ haha)
Interface is simple, easy to understand, like COD3, we can choose a class of set weapons(the new thing is we can make our own class+we can have special ability like "increased dmg, increased sprint speed, increased healthpoints n more)

- You can have air-support too! like having 7 kills in a row? u can call air strike to sweep the surface! damn!
- There are experience and level to your avatar (like leveling up your RPG chars) where ranks determine your skill, as well as alot of rewards to be unlocked to make your avatar more powerful! (So far I am ranked 5, and players i saw like Rank 20 also got, and tere gile hahah)
- No laggings pun smalam I play biggrin.gif

Ok, thats all i can enlighten and help any of you people about this game. All i can say is this is a MUST-BUY. I tot Killzone 2 will be the only 1...but this is very very nice as well!

So far I played Deathmatch and Free for All (FFA)

I dont see people with jets and tanks yet haha (except the Air-Strike Support that'd wipe certain area of choice or randomly? coz i never had a 7 kills in a row so i cant test it doh.gif)

to me, its just like counter-strike - we will use the bad guys, good guys...

For deathmatch i can see people host 6-12 players.

for FFA i always see people host as 4-10 players? i never host yet so dono..

but from what cod has said, up to 18 players simultaneously right? where other platforms can only fit 16 players max.

yup can voice chat without pressing L3. so continuous voice chat!!! great game.


the only think i hate is the press L3 down to run. thy should hv it toggle on off rather thn press to run..

another thing is whn someone invite u.. its hard to see if the invite was a previous one or current one.. so if u;re in game.. and thn u get a invite which the host might not be even there. u press start to change yr character type.. and accpet it.. . u get kicked out


so far the best multiplayer user friendly functions is still resistance.

Hah yeah, good game tonight. Lets see if we can get 18 players online sometime.

I like the ship map we played, and the last map with the abandoned warehouse with the smoke coming out.

Favorite modes so far include :

Domination -- capturing the flag
Deathmatch -- esp in the small maps smile.gif
Search and Destroy/Sabotage -- brings back counterstrike memories, which is why I suck smile.gif

I don't think we've tried out all the modes eh?

We gotta give the big maps a go too, but lets get 12+ players in the game first.

I think it depends on the gun. BTW, is the only way to unlock new classes by playing on the online servers? I was able to get a sniper, wondering what other classes I can advance too.

the gun u talking about shoots 3 bullets per tap.. not good for continuous shooting.. tats why i choose mp5 mostly. haha

The graphics is smooth but it could be due to realism of it. Especially the first mission, I got a bit dizzy as well, when everything senget tongue.gif

the game multiplayer is a bomb...but it get even better when there are middle eastern people playing...then the chat and game voice get very realistic..hahahaha

woah last night games was so intense, especially mayatsan. Always call heli, running around with his big gun. But the show is not all bout him hehe brows.gif

after few days playing cod4, finish the story mode and decide to play online... took 2 days (about 10 hour playing time), managed myself to be lvl25 sweat.gif

damn love the good old M16, 3 burst shot control each shot, almost got my headshot challenge done. Russian guns got nerfed, lack of accuracy made me go for my next sweetheart : G3 and G36c. can't wait to unlock barret biggrin.gif

just to add some tips..if u wanna make sure u hosting the game...invite 3-5 friends to your party then find the game..dun create private match unless u got 12/18 players (your friends)...if u find out the game u just joined are lag...party leader is responsible to leave the the game..mean that we r not hosting the game icon_rolleyes.gif

i think most of our bad connection start bila connect dgn game from US/EU...tapi kalau locally like MY/SG or middle east..connection seems to be fine...

tapi semalam, aku nyer kes terbalik...so banyak kali drop out...like mayatsan said...kalau teruk better drop out so let other play without dragging the bandwith.

so malam ni tengok ok tak..

so for those yang try to tambah my nick...im not sure can accept or not cause my friendlist dah max...

si mayat ni MC 2 bulan ni aku rasa hahaha~

wei asal aku nye BT cpat tul battery kong, padahal aku x memekak macam Yus pon....maybe coz Yus memekak cam gile sampai receiver aku kong battery cpat kot haha

btw aku pakai WEP200 samsung, sapo lagi pakai yg ni? besides ninja + sicknsore that i knew of

if u wana get red dot or any score for a weapon u need to use that weapon to complete the quest....for example if u wan red dot scope for ak47 u have to use that weapon to kill 25 to get it

ya we al;ll were lagging compared to the vietnam guys. lol.. our movements were so slow. if we had a smoother line we could hv kicked their arses di. hahaha. sry i had to go. played single mission. freaking awesome. i playing slowly as i am really dying so many times.jus completed the fathers sins..

the sniping mission is freakin awesome la.. everythin look so real!!!
but the one hv to snipe frm the motel.. its not possible to get a head shot right? i tried many times but only managed a hand shot. wtf.
think tats how the story line goes anyways.

Yeah, last night I got constant 3-green bar especially when we have our first Party ranked games. But, somehow, masa main Unranked ngan bebudak smer malam tadik, dia turun pulak jadik 2 bar jer.. tongue.gif

yesterday...we played the private match,after u left..well wut can i say...the multiplayer mode in private match is freaking awesome...NO LAG AT ALL with the SABOTAGE mode...ahahahahahaha....perrrggghhh intense gila masa main sabotage kat SHIPMENT...well the team cooperation is the most important thing!!!! malam ni main sabotage lagi jom rclxm9.gif

p/s:reminder if ur party have more than 6 players..u cant find the TEAM DEATHMACH OPTION...mean that only option is GROUND WAR- BIG TEAM....TOTAL DOMINATION 8-18 players

btw after 17 hour of play... finally i got "pangkat Burung Perak" rclxms.gif oh man... u know how hard it was? Im pray that i can enter a game with 3 green bar instead most of them 1 orange bar... really hard to kill ppl after that... not to mention u won' notice u were lagging until u shoot somebody or most effective way is try throw any grenade...

Dah la susah nak dapat game yang connection bagus - HK/SG/UAE...so kalau dapat masuk...stay lah selama yang mungkin...semalam aku berjaya jugak complete "Hardcore Team Deathmatch level III"...tapi main sabotage kena maki sebab jadi tunggul tunggu kena bunuh!

Now we know why dedicated server is the best! Activision should mimic Insomniac and Warhawk way and at least go with that option...or just buat filtering supaya quality match matching dengan connection quality....or do a server list for us to join rather than system matchmaking...

haa... mmg betul, lepas fikir2.. aku rasa pakai LMG la the best, tp aku skarang tgh aim on accuracy ni, kalo main burst, accuracy cam sial plak.dulu2 aku main M4 ngan sniper rifles je, but skarang cam kelakar gile la... static target aku tul2 aim headshot ..2 kali same shot same cursor.. org tu x mati2, then dia perasan aku then dia tap tap pakai AK47, long range, mati da aku...

sebelum ni connection was fine ( i know tht depends on the hosters ) tp skarang, besides private match by mayatsan, aku da ilang tul mood main. i rili hate that stupid matchmaking thing..shudve made server list as u said tu, tunjuk skali conn speed of the host kan senang! doh.gif

hm... i using streamyx line but i connect to webside all got no problem js only i connect to the ply online the the problem is come ~ normally 1 u connect to the ply online is tht will happen the same thing ??? i mean will DOWNLOADING GAME SETTING ?? is tht will be take long time on 1st time ~ today morning im 1st time ply the COD4 online ~~ but i wait till i fall sleep still not done yet tht y i feel like is tht any problem there ~~~~ PSN id : mammymy

seriously last night almost total shite, just wondering whats wrong with cod4 last night? first in choose class weapon, the label missing... lucky not the weapon setting. Second when i enter any type of games, im aiming someone by shooting flash grenade :weird: ... later i found out cod4 reset back all my setting.

nak cakap pasal connection, berbulu sungguh. Aku men ngan neoradi, oniee tot dll... tiap kali aku kena tembak aku sempat usha replay... aku lag?? bengong... walaupun split second je lag tapi ...grrrr.... tambah dengan bug cod4... hampeh...

harap2 malam ni takde problem...

sometimes contact list is full so we cant even see the pending list mah... aku punya pun da penuh ni, but alot of contacts yg sangat2 x active pun, so aku nak buang some >.<... please ask sony to widen the space to save contacts man

tonight connection sux 2 the max... man im speechless. Had a great game with Brunei clan and invited oniee and neoardi to play together but seriously what the hell happen to cod4 recently...

im not sure does new firmware update affected the game... or the connection... really frustrated...

although im happy i got barret .50 caliber... but feels like it goes straight to drain... dammit... made me really desperate to play x360 again...

I believe the choice is weather you you wanna start again with everything locked or not. If you choose to do so you'll get a unique icon for your rank hmm.gif

COD updated the Playstation Matchmaking issues

Hell Yeah! it's about time Infinity Ward addresses this issue. Can't bare to play with all this latency and connectivity problems. Hope the server is better now.

weii.. oniee... got good server ajakla orang... sedih tau got bullied by player who got better connection but still took few second to aim at me and at that moment i just realized that he was in front of me... playing like that made my playing nerfed and more cowardice... always pray i got them from behind... even diorang tak sedar pun sempat lagi pusing, aim and shoot...
