hey guys...i'm new to this ipod touch.hehehe i got this first gen 16gb ipod touch.i bought it second hand from my friend. i'm really2 interested in this jailbreaking.but before that,i need to check with the "veterans" here...does this jailbreaking will burn my warranty?it still has 6 months left on it. i'm very particular about the warranty because i'm very reliant on it for any physical damage or internal problems that i can't fixed myself.
so does the jailbreaking burns my apple warranty? thanks.

QUOTE(ihawk98 @ Nov 17 2008, 05:42 PM) jailbreaking will void the warranty. but if you need warranty, you can also restore your ipod to its original state before submitting for warranty. ow really?so all i need is just to restore it into its original condition ya?but wont they know about that?i mean the shop ppl wont find that i jailbroke the ipod? also...have any of you guys extend the warranty after the original ones expires? i mean is it possible if the first one year warranty expires, then after a while can i apply for the one year warranty(the extended warranty)? or do i have to extend it during the first one year?
