For 3rd party application, you may browse Apple 3rd party web application. You need not to install anything. I don't jailbreak mine to avoid warranty issue. You may find entertainment, games, search tools, news, sport, travel,etc. softwares here. However, you need to connect to wi-fi to access these.There would be more application softwares coming out early march, after Apple release SDK (software development kit) to its vendors. Hope most of the softwares will be free.
