For 3rd party application, you may browse Apple 3rd party web application. You need not to install anything. I don't jailbreak mine to avoid warranty issue. You may find entertainment, games, search tools, news, sport, travel, etc. softwares here. However, you need to connect to wi-fi to access these.

There would be more application softwares coming out early march, after Apple release SDK (software development kit) to its vendors. Hope most of the softwares will be free.

FYI, you may view problem/solution in apple discussion. Link is here

Cheers

just wondering..
so many iTouch owners here, none of you had stuck pixels?

This is how i detect stuck pixels.
Create a black, navy blue, blue, yellow, red, green jpeg file, and sync it into the iTouch.
Then turn on the brightness to maximum and scroll thru the color jpegs..
Doing this in total darkness will help.

Oops.. should I be even talking about this in this thread?
TS: Sorry if its not allowed.

Thanks for your tips.

I have done accordingly, no stuck pixels discovered.
