I have owned all 3 brands before. Not to put down any brand, for some, I will never go back to them again.  But don't take my word for it. Just pop into any of the 3S and you should be able to feel the difference right away. It comes with the culture.

Hey no worries, we are here to share opinions and experiences. Since you have owned all 3 brands before, which 1 is the least reliable and gives u most headache?

That's the only reason for me.

I was veryyyyy interested in s60 t8 eh until i saw the 180km/h speed limit

I usually drive around 140 je on highway, but sometimes when the traffic is okay, boleh tekan extra sikit la.
*
can pay outside to override the 180km limit. but prepare to (most probably) void warranty. thou technically you can quite easily change back the settings before claiming warranty.

From here I can gather this:

BMW - drivetrain reliable but service center and support sucks
Volvo - drivetrain and electronic reliability is in question but everything else is superb
Mercs - good support and service center but reliability unknown

with the right software you can DIY at home .. one of the members did it .. but of course warranty void .. to me 180 more than enough, NSE not much chance to speed anyway, always will have car randomly cut out of hog the fast lane .. what's important is the way it accelerates 100-180

Won't the SC be able to detect it? Knn last time a SA said to me that the SC can easily detect it and void warranty.

I tried but I don't like it. My gf likes Mini Cooper tho.
Eh but 2020 onward GLC macam still ada 48V EQ boost? How long have you owned the car ya? Any big repair like need few k to repair one?
Wa bro drive so fast go Holland ke?
*
Look like GLC300 don't have. I driven the w205 for 2 yrs+ then upgrade to w213 recently.
Biggest repair was the alternator Borsch RM2,800 with installation, else just wear and tear.
Tukar minyak hitam with filter pun RM500-RM700.
Gear oil with filter - rm 1k +

BMW, Mercedes or Volvo? Pick which one la? Which one less maintenance and repair cost? All cost about 250k ish for 3 years old car which is about 2-2.5k monthly for 7 years loan and provided throw 100k as down payment. Prepare 10-15k yearly enough for repair ah?

BMW X3 xDrive30i
Mercedes GLC200, GLC250, GLC300
Volvo XC60

Service centre very ependent on their location .. some branch besar besar but the SC like shit .. takes awhile to find a reliable one .. once you find a good one and kawan kawan with the sales advisor then no problem ..

For me BMW X3 if you don't mind the slightly plain interior .. Drives great, performance won't lose out tooooo much from the volvo ..

Volvo is fast but not 460hp fast, their tuning is more for comfort. Also if you plan to keep it long term, i suggest not to take the volvo as the engine outside mechanic susah nak buat .. supercharged + turbocharged + electric drivetrain .. too complicated .. but if you have the ability to change it before the warranty ends then yes, go ahead and get the volvo ..

Another thing is the volvo FC will be slightly high and the fuel tank is small .. if your daily commute is less than 50km then you will enjoy the pure EV side of the volvo (Provided you rajin charge it daily) .. ooh and even brand new there's some creaks from the door panels (CKD quality) .. but overall great car

skip the merc due to the bad ride comfort and cramped interior

Confirm got audit log and trails to detect if they dig in the logs la. If they lazy lazy never check then ok lo, that's why better to assume will void warranty lo.

Agree with Merc. In my heart I am down to X3 and XC60. Don't really mind of the horsepower or torque cause I think both are quite good adi. I am okay with X3 interior, in fact I like knobs and buttons cause easier to use when driving. I am trying to see which 1 gives me less headache in the long run after warranty ends. I don't really care much on FC also cause SUV and FC don't make much sense. As long as 1L can still go 8-10km then okay dah.

Not Citroen.

It's DS Automobiles. Supposedly Peugeot SA's premium marque.

Good or not, you have to ask Boy96, /k's French car fan.

But one thing for sure, this one stands out more than BMW, merc or Volvo.

Mechanically, I have not faced key issues with the 3 brands. It's the 3S support that literally makes or breaks your day. In terms of ride, BMW gives you most aggression, Volvo the most pleasant, Merc is a bit lost in between trying hard to be both,
