With regards to the title above what is the normal time frame the bank should release the progressive billing amount to the developer. I was adviced by the developer to settle my portion within X weeks prior to the due date so that the solicitor will have ample time to get the bank the disburse by the due date set by the financer. I paid the amt immediately upon the notice however the bank is yet to disburse the amount to the developer on the mentioned due date. Whose responsibility would it fall on if developer charges me interest if the bank does not pay on time? Also what is normal processing time for bank to release the progressive billing ? Bank CS say few months but developer only give few weeks. In the event the developer puts the responsibility for the late payment what shall i do?

normally when developer send the bill to the bank to disburse will have time flame example 30 days or 60 days from the bill date.

If the bank is not disburse the fund within the period , developer will charge interest on you.

However, if this incident happen, you can claim back the late interest payment from the bank.
