As an ex-owner of a modern Pug, I will not buy another unless its been pampered and driven sparingly for 2 years (to weed out the infant mortality issues) and then I will only drive it for the next 2 years and sell it off 1 year before warranty ends.

In between I will expect to receive a 50% discount from new and expect to lose another 50% off my own purchase price, if I'm lucky.

Or I can buy a 5 year old one with immaculate service record and for 75% off.

But yes, it handles well and it drives beautifully.
