does it really have to be electric scooters? would you consider having an electric unicycle (euc)? i prefer the euc because my hands are free to hold my bags or briefcase or phone or whatever. with a scooter you'll need both hands for stability. also euc have bigger tires so it will much safer on the road when hitting potholes or missing tiles.i ride euc to the ERL station near my home. the train will take me to kl sentral and from there i ride my euc again to my office. so far very smooth sailing and this setup works perfect for me. i am using a very old euc however (bought in november 2015 for rm 3k) and the 30km battery is now only serving me 6km per charge. i'm thinking of changing the battery coz i found it on shopee cost rm 500 ish. my model is the ancient Ninebot One E+. with this setup i save RM 16 per day for overnight parking at the ERL station car park. i work midnight shift.
i have also encountered another guy using an euc at the ERL albeit a much newer and advanced model.
