As my outdoor water filter is more than 10 yrs old... I'm looking for a full replacement of outdoor water system...

Any recommendations? Currently using those big old rock/sand based water filter...

Not looking for Amway/Coway kind of filter...

Try looking for outdoor membrane filter. U won’t go back to sediment filtration. Cleaning idea so much less water. All membrane is about the same tech.

using outdoor membrane water filter from Intact. not complaints so far. however did replace flush timer cos the device masuk water. under warranty.

I think membrane filters are more expensive in the long run because they need to be replaced more often, whereas sand filters can last quite long if you backwash regularly.

That's what my worried is... The current sand based water filter, not bad... other than backwash it really last me more than 10 years...

I just bought puregen sand filter. I prefer sand filter than membrane for poe. If you want better filtration, use two filters, one poe and another for pou

My previous membrane filter I used about 7 years. Still working and didn’t burst and pressure rate was still good . Changed to new version stainless steel housing. Filters down to 99.99% bacteria and larger viruses. So technically ever faucet in ur house is bacteria free but never drink water coming from ur water tank.

bought normal outdoor water filter. instead of one, pasang two at melaka apartment. modified the pipe to go indoor. malas to go for those indoor water filters...

Suggest you use back the sand system.

2?? that means you sacrificed water pressure. The more filters, the weaker the water pressure

if outdoor u wanna use membrane , be prepared with high maintenance n replacement cost

Use outside cheap system is ok. Then use another inside the house for finer filtration.

I do have drinking water filter system at home... So I guess I'll go with sand based water filter replacement for the outdoor unit..

I'm using 3M AP902. Replace cartridge every 1.5years or when pressure start to drop. 600 for the cartridge though. I like it as it is compact and not so huge like sand filter. Also no need to keep doing backwash every week.

Just get any good quality outdoor stainless steel body sand filter ok already.

Inside kitchen use another indoor filter.

Nesh is good. Not too bulky & won’t reduce water pressure

Nesh. They r&d their own system, more expensive but more longlasting than those China oem like filken and intact water
