Planning to get my first laptop, and I've spotted one I like on the PIKOM online store. Just wanted to ask if anyone else has experience buying from them? How is their customer service like? Are their prices considered reasonable?

Why so random, why dont get it on shopee/lazada? Or go to shop yourself. Anyway whats your budget and what do you need laptop for

Seriously, better get a laptop from Shopee "Official Store" eg MSI, Asus, Acer etc, or from manufacturer direct online eg Dell, Lenovo

Cuz my uni sent email that you'll get special deals from PIKOM online for students. I couldn't find the exact laptop on lazada unfortunately. Mainly for student/later work, more to document processing and watching videos/movies maybe some light gaming. My budget is less than 4k

Actually to add on is it better to buy a laptop online or at a physical store?

Online only for Dell or Lenovo because these 2 always operated as online stores for decades.

The rest better buy at a physical store to avoid shipping problems or damages.

What I would do is wait and see new M3 Macbook Air how much because recently they discount M1 very aggressively, 3.5k can get already. Reason is M1 Macbook air is the best in price range for everything: screen, touchpad, keyboard, speakers, battery life more than 10 hours. Downside is gaming, not many games on macos but can install iphone and ipad games like asphalt. 2ndhand value blows any dell or lenovo away, you search carousell and see still can sell how much for 2-3 year old m1. For me this one important la because my old xps or other laptops all basically junk within few years, no resale value.

OR

If really want gaming then buy cheap ass 1.5k laptop and use the remaining money to buy ps5 or build rig.
