In 2013, Selangor state govt gave an option to extend leasehold for 1000rm but with a caveat lodged on the title -https://www.starproperty.my/news/how-to-extend-your-lease-for-leasehold-properties/22857

It is option 1 in the article above. How would the title be transferred to a family member if within an inheritance since there is a registrar caveat on the title?

Anyone with experience in removing this caveat as well? What is the process?

Thanks

caveator consent, or they withdraw then terus caveat again.

anyhow these prop are likely to require state consent to transfer.

i havent personally done for someone whose lease get renewed and got kaveat pendaftar then the owner become unalive.

but i've done many consent to transfer , it just takes time and if the transfer is to beneficiary should not have any issue unless beneficiary is not malaysian which could be problem.

Thanks for this. Is there a way to see what the actual kaveat mentions? I guess application to Selangor Land office?

land search wont show what the caveat is about.

u need to submit request for a copy of the caveat form. but tbh i've never seen how a kaveat pendaftar looks like lol. submit in takes 14 working days.
