TS, please read this article.
SINGAPORE: For any aspiring pet owner in Singapore put off by the cost of buying a new puppy or kitten, there is a potential money-saving solution. Across the border in Johor Bahru (JB), pet shops offer animals at prices far below what they would cost in Singapore. https://www.channelnewsasia.com/singapore/p...cheaper-3243481 |

QUOTE(JoeYoung @ Mar 24 2023, 11:36 AM) TS, please read this article. Yea, don't plan to import illegally. Plan to do the normal way. If all done properly, it seems to cost less than SGD1k. But I just want to confirm or if there is a good agent out there. But is there any extra fees to add on? |

You wanna rehome your current dog to Singapore or move there and get one from a breeder here?
If it's the latter why don't get a bona fide guy there to do it for you end to end. Yeah it costs alot but if he does it for a living odds are you won't have problems |

You can try to find Pet relocation agent on Google, heard some from Facebook mentioned they used Global Pets, is quite reliable.
From what I researched before (3 years ago), the cost for doing everything yourself is around RM3k(apply dog license, import license, quarantine boarding, vet checking, microchip, vaccines etc). You can check Nparks sg website for the full details. If agent help you do is around rm6k-8k (depends quarantine boarding package). Heard the boarding center is always fully booked and need to prebook 6 months before, you can check with your agent for this. This post has been edited by ForeverTorres.c0m: Mar 24 2023, 12:09 PM |

Ah OK.Yeah, I was thinking to just get an agent so won't screw up halfway. I am just trying to estimate the cost now. I used to know someone who did this but she quit and joined back the workforce Maybe Google pet rehoming/relocation services and see who can give you the best deal. Got local fellas also And maybe check the allowable breeds in your new place. Last time I remember Beagles not welcomed in a few places HDB as well |
