Anyone rrenew road tax recently? Just want to confirm after renew no need to stick the road tax on the car windscreen already right? I saw news somewhere antony loke sudah annouce no need liao.. iust want to be sure...can anyone confirm?

NO NEED. Anthony Loke already stated, it is the responsibility of enforcement to retrieve your roadtax. Not you.

I already remove it since the day of announcement.

that why roadtax put in car drawer lo..if they no device check roadtax valid or not..i can take out from drawer and show them..
but i no display it on dashboard.

I renewed my road tax recently. Removed the old sticker, did not put up the new one.

Went through a roadblock recently. Didn't get stopped. But maybe because I am ah pek. Donno lar.

better display at the moment, last week kena road block and polis check on the physical road tax

already removed my roadtax the very 1st day after anthony loke announce it and already passed by many roadblocks no issue at all

I thought Anthony Loke say can just show the digital roadtax, same valid as printed roadtax. The catch is you need to have digital roadtax ready, means must have the app.

I read about it. But now they got machine instantly check? So good maybe it's now possible due to 5G lol.

That's good. But as usual in Malaysia, different enforcer different interpretation. If still summon then can go to balai or jpj to get it cancelled but additional work.

You can choose either digital copy or roadtax sticker via MYEG onlne. I got the digital copy (RM2+ service charge) and it updated in MyJPJ app in next morning.

It will only be updated on the app

If u renew physical road tax...you'll receive a physical road tax and your myjpj app will be updated as well

But of course u don't need to show it if u don't want too even though u renew physical roadtax

It's still not common yet for cars without road tax stickers, it may take a bit time. I think although people are aware about it, they're just not confident too.. so they leave their road tax since it has already been sticked. Maybe during next renewal, people will choose not to stick it.
