Got an offer for k20a type R ecu code PRC J01 with kpro V4 already installed for RM4k.

Worth it? Is the performance difference really big?

Currently im using stock type r ecu with k20a type R engine.

Better discuss with your tuner, if it align with what you want.

you going to need a really good tuner to explain you about it, or go ask fb or any your car group. It will be easier to get answer there

you will need a tune to get the best performance, stock ECU cannot tune right.
So you definitely need the Hondata.

Also if you need parts for the K20, pm me... i still have stuff lying around in the store room. Car long sold, but parts still around.

I wan stock engine but also big changes with just intake/header/exhaust changes. Hence the upgrades to kpro. It will gain improvements along the whole rpm ranges around 25 hp

Get it then, ecu upgrades are always needed to optimise mapping even with bolt on parts.

It wont be high as im using 2.3inch exhaust piping with just stage 1 mods.
Im expecting around 200whp with ron95 or 205-210 whp with ron97. When im back hometown, ron97 is scarce, so thinking to just tune with ron95.

i think you can do dual mapping if needed.
