QUOTE(azarimy @ Mar 16 2023, 01:09 PM) That ramp grove is wrong. The chevron patterns must point up on both sides. This to flow water from middle of the ramp down to the side. If you look on the left ramp, the chevron pattern points down. This causes water to accumulate in the middle of the ramp, and create a cascading waterfall. The groove is indication of direction of traffic flow. If simply face the directions, nanti kena accident. I'm sure all levels are the same. Drainage is another issue but that is not the primary function of the grooves.

QUOTE(azarimy @ Mar 18 2023, 03:31 PM) I can tell you for certain it's NOT to show traffic flow. There are arrows painted yellow or white for that reason. do you see painted arrows in all ramps at all condo's ? If there are no painted arrows, how would one decide which lane is going up or down?

QUOTE(azarimy @ Mar 18 2023, 05:43 PM) Painted arrows to indicate the flow of traffic are COMPULSORY in all developments. The grooves, on the other hand, are not. I mean, have you seen these? what you show are marked arrows that are necessary as they do not have directional grooves built into the design to indicate traffic flow direction. . No one will illogically have arrow like design if they do not have a directional purpose. Show me one ramp with directional arrow grooves which have painted arrows indicating in a completely opposite direction.
