Hi everyone
My contract will expire soon and I plan on moving out but I have some doubts about this landlord and her agent. The agent is her own friend. When the contract was presented to me, it was pre-stamped even before I sign. I did not get the usual stamping receipt or anything.
How do I check if this contract is valid to be used in court in the case the landlord refuse to return deposit?

In the eyes of the law a binding contract is concluded once an offer has been accepted unconditionally.
Personally you should talk to your landlord first and not jump to conclusions that your landlord won't return your deposit.
If your landlord does indicate that he is unwilling to return your deposit after numerous attempts, then you could pursue this in the small claims tribunal
Best to talk it out with your landlord and come to a compromise first and foremost.
Lawyer fees aren't cheap while the mess that comes with managing a tenant isn't easy either for the landlords.
Both parties are better off discussing like proper adults

Actually, stamping is just something to formalise it. Even if you don't stamp a contract, it does not mean that it is not valid.
Also, assuming your deposit is under the small claim threshold, you don't need a lawyer to file a small claim in court.

High court is the authority to decide contract validity.
