The problem with England is they tends to play too defensively whenever they are leading 1-0. The only time this tactic work were way back in 2002 during the WC match with Argentina. I think its the problem with the pressure faced by the whoever who coaches England. They do not dare to take risk whenever they are leading. As long as the English media and fans exert so much pressure, this problem will forever exist regardless of who is the coach. What England needs is a coach who does not give a damn on what the press or fans want. Actually I think the ideal person is someone like Alex Ferguson but its impossible to pull him away from MU.
