- Carson is selected over one impressive performance? - Crouch is starting without Beckham? (or in other words, an excellent crosser) And watchin Sportscenter, Crouch Cole Wright-Phillips Lampard Gerrard Barry Bridge Lescott Campbell Richards Carson I don't think a Lampard-Gerrard combo will do. Barry can replace Lampard's position and Beckham plays in the middle. What the hell is McClown thinking? If England lost, all fingers will be pointed at him. |

He made the worst decision of his life in this game.
1. To start Peter Crouch alone without Beckham (or Downing to say the least) 2. To start Lamps and Gerrard (although this might not be a worse decision) 3. To start in a 4-5-1. 4. To not partner Peter Crouch with another striker 5. To actually not start the world's best dead ball specialist. (probably not anymore) 6. To start a goalkeeper who only shined in one game, ONE GAME. And that was against Austria. AUSTRIA FFS. AUSTRIA! I only know one player from there, Emanuel Pogatetz. GAH. Sack McClaren. Sack McClaren. |
